Hi everyone today i wanted to play some destiny 2 and as soon as i entered the game the frames just drop so i open task manager and to my surprise my gpu usage was 100% how do i fix this

GPU usage at 100% while gaming is 100% normal and is expected. You want the GPU usage at 100% when in games for best experience.

yeah but thats not normal for me it usually get nowhere near 100% and if your right it dose not explain my fps drop

if your GPU is less than 100% in game in most games, then you have something else wrong with your system.

We don't know what graphics card it is, or what games you play. If you've been playing half life this whole time on a GTX 770, of course it wouldn't be at 100%, until you play destiny.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

my gtx is a 1050ti and i have been playing D2 for a month this is the first time this happens

Did your graphics settings get changed automatically in an update?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

what do you mean i thought you meant when my gpu usage is low but if you mean in game setting few frames increase but that about it

If you lower setting and it's not stuttering then that's how you lowered GPU usage. If you were on low settings and destiny was running poorly, that's a different story, but since low settings seems to fix your problem, I bet some of the details just got turned up at some point.

well i understood you wrong i tried lowering the setting but still the same lag and very bad frames
