How do I fix this?

SoulWolfX

Ok so. I have a keyboard with super loud switches. I love to stream and record. But, the switches sound really bad on recording and can overpower my voice. Ive tried using the obs audio filters but it just makes my voice sound like it was recorded on a 1998 budget phone. Thanks.

You buy a keyboard with quiet switches or move the mic closer to your mouth and turn the gain down.

Can get some dampeners to put on your switches so you don't bottom out as hard or turn down the gain for your microphone

but other than that you might be SOL

They are rubber o-rings. And push-to-talk is a thing.

Well, thats easy to solve. Just search manufacturer and model of keyboard. If its isn't said in product page, reviewers usually do the trick. Or if its super-cheap, other users will do the trick. Or you can just pop keycap of and take a look.

That doesn't really narrow it down at all. Cherry's have brand name on switches. I'm not sure about Kailh and others. See spoiler

You need to ask that from someone who has tried it. I've got Ducky with Cherry browns and o-rings, I don't know about else. I suppose Kailh's might work as they are often referred as "clones" of Cherry. But ask this in peripherals if you want better answer.
