This one is NVMe:

NVMe will be better for loading your OS. Not a lot will benefit from the NVMe speeds though, especially not games. NVMe is also more expensive than SATA.

 

SATA is just your standard SATA3 M.2 SSD.

Ok, so how much is the OS boot time difference between NVMe and SATA?

Looking at user benchmark, the Samsung 970 EVO is the best by far.

It won't be twice as fast, I'd guess around 1.5x faster.

I guess it would be better for the future, as I assume Windows will add more bloat to their OSes.
