brand and efficiency have nothing to do with quality

 

And no, it's because it has a 6 pin connector doesn't mean it's appropiate for any GPU with a 6 pin

You can build a pretty high end system with 400 watts, but still I recommend staying away from anything not listed on this list or below Tier 4.

The rule of thumb is that a PSU is crap until proven otherwise. So the assumption for those will generally be that they can't delivered their specified power, and that they are fire hazards.
