Need help with pc building.

I want to get into pc gaming and I am building a pc soon. So if i were to build a pc would these parts work together? Am i missing anything? Recommendations?

Cpu- AMD Ryzen 5 2600x

Cpu cooler- Noctua - NH-U9S 46.44 CFM

Motherboard- MSI - X470 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4

Memory- Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (1 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000

Storage- Toshiba - P300 3 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Gpu- Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8 GB

Case- Thermaltake - Versa J24 TG RGB ATX Mid Tower Case

PSU- EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

You dont nessesarily need an ssd but man does it help things fel snappy, also why are you getting that particular ram? I didnt wanna try suggesting otherwise until I heard that input

I don't really know what ram to get i just thought 16gb 3000mhz ddr4 would be good so i searched that up and saw the ram was a reasonable price so i added it to my list.

Can you send a link? Cause if its what Im seeing you really might wanna not, also if you plan on sticking with 16gb for awhile and/or you have four dimm slots you may wanna go with a 2x8 config. This doubles the mem bandwidth and may help in  mem intensive applications

Also $257 for 16gb is really high...

Dang thats a sharp contrast to the us newegg price... geezums. Still may want to consider 2x8, especially if its cheaper. Past that I cant really help on things like the best freq and timings cause Im not super experienced with ryzen, Only build like 2 rigs with a ryzen base, last I heard as long as its about 2666mhz its should be good. You dont need super high end ram as long as you dont plan on mem oc and stuff though, not saying to get the absolute cheapest (I do sometimes cause Im cheap) but you dont nessesarily have to get some of the best you can find.

Yea I know, its crazy right?? Also I did some googling on the webs and appeartly 2666 is the lowest speed recommended but 3000-3200mhz does make a tangible improvement

Popped on one more time, looked at the rest of the build (the ram really stood out to me), you maybe want to get a lower capacity hdd like 1-2tb and use that moneyz to get a boot sdd (240ish gb is recommended). Not only would this make your boot feel alot faster and make the comp snappier the higher the capcity of the hdd generally the slower they are, cause that read/write heads gotta hunt through more disk to find stuffs. Generally the higher capacity drives, 2tb+, are better for archival purposes and if you wanted that much hdd storage itd prob be better to get a 1tb~ hdd now and later down the road when you need more go ahead and get another one. Full disclosure though I dunno if gaming is all youll be doing but if thats generally all youll be doin its prob the best bet, 1Tb takes a LONG time to fill with games. If you plan on yubtubing and making alot of content like that videos do take up a fair bit of space so it may be worth doing the larger drive for that reason.

Edit: For context Ive got a steam library of 150 and Ive still got a fair bit of space on my 1Tb partition
