Zotac showed off a Nexus Q-like pc prototype in CES 2014

Zotac showed off several mini pc in CES 2014, one of them looks really like Google Nexus Q.

 

The Nexus Q-like pc is called "ZBOX OI520". It has a i3-4010U, running @ 1.7GHz. It has 2 so-dimm ram slot, 16GB at max. You can put a 2.5" hdd and a msata drive in it, and a sd card slot for extra storage.. It has HDMI & DisplayPort as video output, which 4K video output is supported; it also has USB 3.0 × 4, USB 2.0 × 3 and Gigabit Ethernet for external connectivity. Last but not lease, it has bluetooth 4.0 and IEEE 802.11ac.

 

Japanese Media PC Watch reported that Zotac will release it in 2014 Q3, with a price tag of $ 399 in North America.

Exactly what is this supposed to be used for? It's not powerful enough to be considered a "gaming" PC.

Really surprised in how they are able to fit a computer in that form factor. Wonder how noisy the one fan will be if the system is on load.

Hmmm looks interesting, especially if you consider how much you can fit in it.

I am definitely considering this for a media build....looks sweet!!!
