PSP Go Crashing and powering down

I just got a PSP Go as a gift from my friend who bought it pre hacked since the psn store shut down so no other way to get games for the system. i just started it up and it already has some games pre installed it looks like but they seem to crash a lot and even fully shut down the system when some games load up. also the resume game feature seem to not work at all and just makes the system turn off. i was wondering if there is a way to fix this issue as i would assume its a corrupted cfw but i dont know anything about psp modding. the system software says its 6.61 pro-c than it shows the infinity symbol i dont know what to do or if its just a broken system. Not all games crash most of them seem to work but i would assume this much crashing to shutdown is not normal unless it is i wouldn't know.
