well, a 2600 would be a nice upgrade here. another 2×4 gigs of ram and your gaming experience should be a lot better. 300 series mobo's from msi aren't that good, so if you have some budget left, I also suggest a better mobo if you want to overclock it

Agree that the R5 2600 would be a great upgrade. Just ensure to flash the bios to the latest version with your current chip first. I initially had an R7 1700 and learned this the hard way

Intel Core i7 9700F / Cooler Master 212 Evo / GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER / 16 GB G.SKILL RAM @ 2666MHz / GA-B365M-DS3H / EVGA 500w PSU

HP Pavilion Gaming 15 / Ryzen 5 4600H / GeForce GTX 1050 / 8 GB @ 3200MHz

  1. You'll experience significant bump in performance by going from R3 1200 to R5 2600 in some games.
  2. Also added in a new Mobo to avoid the hassle of bios update. Also, msi 350 series boards were criticized because of their crappy capacitors and vrms.
  3. That case is a personal preference. May vary from person to person. This one is optional.
  4. If u r planning to game at high fps, then should have a monitor capable of displaying those frames. So, added in a new monitor.

Also, you can sell ur existing cpu+Mobo+case+monitor and get some profit.
