How to Washing / Cleaning mouse pad.

TalhaBhai

Hi,  I have been using my mouse pad for over 3 years now. In the early days I remember that I was quite happy with my mouse pad.  The mouse was very easy to use and slides over the mouse pad very softly. Over the years my mouse pad has racked up a lot of stains and dirt. Now it doesn't perform as well. It's some what sticky and I need more force to move my mouse.

I tried cleaning it up soap and shampoo but it doesn't make a difference.

If anyone has any advice please share.  Thanks.

2:1 warm water to alcohol mix, scrub in circles, but not too vigorously

You could use washing machine's sensitive/wool program without slinging (or whatever that part of laundry is called in english). Or you can do it by hand with dish soap or laundry detergent and as hot water (not boiling ofc) as you can get from tap. Let it soak for a while and then go on by squeezing and gently rinsing it with your hands. Then wash it with cool  water, squeeze it dry and let it dry for day or two. I've washed this mouse pad twice that way.

My old QcK+ got dirty fast and I used to use fast orange. Have no idea if that's recommended or not but it did a fantastic job cleaning it. Also works wonders on pool cues.

If the surface is fabric, try rubbing gently with a moist washcloth and a bit of soap (or shampoo). Just work it into a soft cloth until the cloth is just slightly wet, then rub the mousepad until it's clean.

My setup:
Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393
i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz
RAM 16.0 GB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

My personal blog with reviews.
