Help me with my pump pls....

I am attempting to water cool my pc for the first time but I have no idea where the input and output for the water are....please help me, thanks. My pump looks something like the one below.

I have no idea who it was manufactured by for I bought it second hand.

Also, as the pumps are all the same, top is feed, always. Which would mean the other is out.

According to your picture, it’s a ekwb top.

if you look at how a centrifugal pump works it becomes obvious that the top will always be the inlet and the side always the outlet.

*looks at D5 housing* it goes in from the top (but could be considered the side) and out though the  side (center)...  seems like your blanket statement doesn't apply

 

what you should do is explain that way a centerfugal pump works is similar to a fan, but these are fluid fans, and cant run dry either. 

or how to 'test' it if isn't clearly tabled

 the way the impeller works makes the pump seem straightforward. but don't chastise some one for asking for help.

With the standard housing sure. Isn’t the case with a top on the d5. But that can go either way. Doesn’t change much from rtfm.

yep, or a simple jump test to figure it out, 50% chance of guessing right the first time
