FAILED in reformating mac

So i was reformating my laptop since i was to give it to my parents and when i reformated i clicked on the quit disk utility without reinstalling the os so now what am i gonna do 

 

 

If i don't respond immediately i'm probably asleep

You'll need to boot into internet recovery (if it's a 2011 model or newer) and reinstall the operating system. Either that, or use another Mac to make a bootable install USB.

Mac's have a recovery mode. You should be able to access that.

WELL, it did not enter recovery mode it hust restarted and flashed a folder with a question mark

Just shows a folder with a folder and a question mark it won't enter recovery mode

Which model (year) is it? Somewhat modern models (2011 and newer) have internet recovery, which has its own key combo you need to press when powering on. If you can't get there, you need a 2nd Mac to make a bootable USB drive.
