Vega 64 for Ultrawide

Is a vega 64 worth it for ultrawide gaming at 1440p? Could one expect it to last on high settings for another 2 or 3 years?

Depends on what price the Vega 64 is in your area.

In most places, a Vega 56 is better value for money than the Vega 64.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Definitely. It's going to be even better if the ultrawide is FreeSync compatible.

Yep, Will be ideal for 1440p ultrawide. Even better with a freesync monitor.

Unless you can get a 1080ti for not much more then go for it.

Regarding your question about the next 2-3 years: AMD's long-term driver support is very good.

It'll be fine, but ultrawides are meme, and go for Vega 56 instead, performance is usually close with a decent price drop.

43" 4K is where it's at if you want a larger monitor.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Depending where you look sometimes the 64 is about 50-70 dollars us more then the 56 is.
