New light Laptop

So im really struggling here . I need a new laptop as my Alienware 17 R1 is 4 years old it is super heavy and battery lasts 3 hours tops . It did a great job back in the day when i played more games . Now this much power and weight is just frustrating and useless for me .

 

The first priority is weight , the battery life , performance . 

 

It would be mostly used for Exel and  Browser. 

 

I would also want the laptop to run some medium demanding games such as Cs go . 

 

no more than 1000 $

I like plain looks of laptops . Keybord led will be nice but no super fancy stuff like MSI . Think pad Carbon i was thinking of

I have the Lenovo Ideapad 320s 13", it's a good mix between portability, price and performance.

My model comes with 8GBs of DDR4, an i5 8250U, 500GB SSD and a Geforce MX 150.

Max preferred weight? Preferred display size?

 

Ideapad 320s 13 has mediocre cooling (normal for 13 inch thin laptops) and battery life.
