Trying to find the right wall plate..

mao91

I'm trying to find a wall plate that includes HDMI, Displayport, and VGA. Scouring Amazon is yielding frustrating results. Hoping the kind folks here at LTT forum can help me out!

Your requirements are a bit specific for Amazon.. but try this https://www.alectro.com.au/wall_plate_product_detail/861_item.html?ref_cat_id=DisplayPort-Wall-Plate

EDIT: Just noticed its an aussie site. God knows why, didn't realise that sorry.

They'll exist.. just search "hdmi vga displayport wall plate"

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

Build your own wall plate :)

https://www.riteav.com/pages/wallplates

Edit: Aw crap this doesn't have an option that includes display ports that I'm seeing. But you get the idea, there's similar websites that let you custom pick your wall plate components.

While I'm here... these are going into a commercial venue. I'll be sending the video signals over Cat6 to a projector. I know individual signal boosters are available but I'm curious if there's a combo unit that can take all three signals and send them over Cat6. Something that can auto-detect what source you're sending (only one thing will be plugged into a plate at a time) so there's no need to manually select a source. These will be mounted inside of a wall and remain out of sight.

What's the distance from the wall plate to the projector?

Just saw this, sorry (don't get on here often enough). The cable run from the plate to the projector will likely be close to 100 feet.
