I want like i7 8th generation laptop with 17 inch full hd ips screen. I love big screen I don't want for gaming . I want laptop Which one will be better for movies , music and other videos like YouTube . I also do Photoshop and video editing sometimes. Which brand is the best? I want solid build quality and long lasting. Is touch screen laptop is good?

If you are going to use the touch screen, go for it, but IMO touch screen laptops are stupid and I won't use one. I'd rather get one with better visual quality or build than a touch screen.

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

whats your budget? the HP spectre series is very good. But if you want power you can also look into the msi ghost pro though i dont think a touch screen model exists. if you want a two in one with a quad core thats thin and has a desktop grade gpu for a good price this is a good option though you would want to get an ssd for it asap

Acer Aspire 5 17 inch, compared to the HP Probook model above, it has a way better excellent IPS display, better GPU, same good build quality, slightly better battery life and also affordable.

Also note that i5 and i7 don't make much difference in ULV CPUs in terms of performance due to TDP limitation

Brands are only important in customer support, in fact brands don't make their own laptops, these are done by ODMs like Compal, Quanta, Clevo etc. Every brand has good and bad products, buy by model not brand.

Desktop specs:
