Only if we can actually use your card and CPU. Every one of them overclock differently so there are no definitive settings for the best overclock.

I just need vague answers... so based on the answers I can start their. since I am new to oc gpu and cpu. ive seen ppl with my cpu go up to 5.1 ghz I plan to go up to 5. sincei am new I don't know how to do that. for my gpu I want to go up to 2050mhz.

i just worked with 2 1080 tis in 2 different builds, both were sc2 hybrids, both oc +100 on the core clock without a voltage change. of course every card is different.

GPU Overclock:

 

Download MSI Afterburner and Unigine Heaven. Open MSI Afterburner and unlock voltage controls in settings. Then you can drag the MSI Afterburner sliders for Voltage, Temperature, and Power to the max which is like +100, 92, +130. Start with +75 on the core and +200 on the memory. Run Unigine Heaven on loop in a window next to msi Afterburner. Use the max settings and set the resolution high enough that it stresses GPU to 99% (1600 x 900 works for me). Let this run for 10-15 minutes and then bump up the Core clock by +25 increments every 5 minutes until you see crashes or artifacts (obvious graphical anomalies). Then drop down by 50 Mhz to insure stability.

GPU: The worst gets just below 2000MHz, so start at whatever offset that leads to the clock speed reaching ~1975MHz. As for memory, give it +100 offset first.

 

CPU: At 1.35V (the maximum safe voltage), most 8600k/8700k top at 5GHz. I'd start at 4.7GHz.

The 8600k is a strong overclocker. For a quick and  simple overclock, simply set the vCore to 1.35v and an all core multiplier at X48. Each BIOS varies slightly but in general setting a constant voltage of 1.35 and setting the all core turbo boost to 48 should do the trick.

 

When you get adventurous you can look up some overclocking guides online and play with it. This can be quite the time investment though and it is easy to cause instability.
