Power Supply replacement for my Dell Inspiron 3268

TerryAlex

I would like to install an audio card into my Dell Inspiron 3268 (small form computer -  i5-7400 processor), but the current existing power supply does not have the PCI-Express (or appropriate) connector for my card. Thus, I would like to purchase a power supply replacement for my my computer. Can someone suggest the specification that I would need to look for when purchasing a power supply? Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you so much for your help. :)

The audio card I purchased is ASUS PCI-Express XONAR_DX

PS: Below is the power info my Dell manual

Input voltage 100 VAC to 240 VAC
Input frequency 50 Hz to 60 Hz
Input current (maximum) 3.0

The Xonar DX (I have the D2X) uses a floppy power connector, it doesn't use a pcie power connector.

Don't buy a new PSU, simply buy a molex or sata power adapter to floppy.

Sata to floppy: https://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-com-Power-Cable-Adapter-Floppy/dp/B000RH171M

molex to floppy: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CDL-Micro-Molex-Floppy-Drive/dp/B001R07FDW

Buy whichever one fits one of the available connectors your PSU has.

Here are what I see being connected from my power supply to motherboard - a 6-pin (rectangular shape), a 4-pin(square shape) and a 4-pin single straight line . Nothing else coming out from the mini ITX power supply. There does not seem to be any SATA connector coming with the power supply either. Any advise? Thanks so much.

I took a picture of the connections, it's a bit hard to see, but hopefully you can see the white pins
