Help! Front panel connectors

So I have the s340 elite and I'm trying to find how to plug the hdd led, p led +, p led -, and the power sw. Motherboard is asrock killer sli/ac z270

Find your front panel headers (look in the manual if you can't spot them)

then, plug the cables into the correct pins. the layout is indicated by writing on the board itself, and in the instruction booklet.

Usually the headers are located on the bottom right side of the motherboard.

All the headers will be on the bottom of the motherboard. Check your manual if it isn't clear which pins go where on the board. Make sure not to mix up your positive and negative pins

Yes, some of the connectors will have a positive and negative pin. This is very clearly labelled on the plug itself and the motherboard manual will show you exactly where each one needs to go. Feel free to ask for help if you need

Here is the front io header on your board.

The power and reset don't matter which way they're plugged in.

The HDD LED and power LED matter, but nothing bad happens if 

you plug them in reversed it just won.t light up.

Really now, why isn't he referring to his instruction paper that came with his board?

This is one of the few instances where i would trust a outdated piece of paper vs advice from the forum.

so my problem is the hdd led, the bottom left is positive, then the one next to it is negative, then ground. how do I put it in positve and ground if the hdd led is 1 cable?

I'm not sure what you are saying.

The HDD LED front io connector has two wires.

The HDD LED front io connector with space for two pins gets put in the bottom left two pins

where it says HDLED.

If it doesn't work rotate the HDD LED front io connector 180 degrees.
