4k gaming pc, budget 2500

so i have a plan building a 4k gaming pc, the price has to include 4k monitor and windows 10 os, pcpartpicker link https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bBw7m8 , wondering if this psu is reasonable for maybe second 1080ti in the future

I would swap the PSU for an 850 watt PSU at least.

Made a couple tweaks:

The CPU cooler was just to give extra cooling capacity but you can definitely swap it back out for the H100i v2

i would not buy a 4K 60hz monitor for gaming...ever.

so im better off with the i7-8700k rather than the 7700k?

Not by an awful lot, and I personally don't see you needing more than 750w at maximum, and that's with 2 cards.

No. A second GTX 1080 Ti would bring the estimated max draw to 720W. An 850W would be better, one might conceivably consider something even larger. But unless a second gpu is a surety I would stick with 850W. SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 850W

 

Unless the system has to be acquired immediately, an i7-8700K would vastly improve the build.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
