Need help with my GFX Card

HasanTheSyrian_

the card is 229mm long get a tape measure and measure. but i think it could interfere with that HDD you have in the front. hard to tell from that picture since i dont know the dimensions of the case.

edit: I think you could have trouble getting it to work in an OEM system not 100% but be aware.

edit2: about the monitor you know best. If it is old like sub 1080p resolution i'd get a new one otherwise its probably fine. I would not go for a 1440p or 4k one since you are looking at a 1050 which would have trouble running games at higher resolutions anyway (depending on games and graphical settings).

Also, be careful about CPU bottleneck, I don't know what CPU you have but your PC looks a bit old.

I'm using an i5 4460 as well. I have no issues with mine paired with an rx 480 4gb gpu.

As for your case, measure it with a tape measure to see if the gpu will fit.

I have 3600mm+ on the x axis and 50mm height until it hits the fan. Should I order right now?

you mean 360mm? 3600mm is 3m and 60cm

also:

Card size

H=40mm L=219mm W=118 mm

measure that it isn't too wide. It will fit in the motherboard slot for sure. keep in mind that the new gpu will be wider that that tiny 7000 series card.

before installing the card uninstall old drivers then install the new gpu

after you install it next step will be:

a) it works and you can use your pc as before

or

b) you will need a bios update to get it to work

or

c) there is no bios update and you will come back here asking for more help

honestly i'd take it to a pc shop where they have used cards and ask them if you could test some cards before buying the 1050ti and see if there will be any trouble. other than this is have nothing more to add to this thread. I have zero experience with prebuilt pcs but i have seen Wendel (level1techs on youtube) do a couple of gpu upgrades on prebuilts with mixed results.
