JVC TV cycles through solid colours at random times!

My JVC 4k 49" Smart TV (LT-49N675A) cycles through solid colours at random times. It mostly does it when it gets turned on, cycling through solid colours of red, green, blue, white. Is there a fix to this? I require help!

Other people have the same problem, as seen in the video:

NOTE: the video isnt mine, its someone else's that I found on youtube. But what you see is pretty much what is happening to mine.

That looks like a self-test.

Dig around in your menu until you find something that resembles a self-test mode.

I had a look. Nothing in the menu relate to self-test mode.

Ive been looking for a fix to this for a few days now, I know its self test mode. But it goes into it at random times and it gets annoying. Any ideas for a fix?

I remember reading about specific button presses are required to be pressed and it will stop doing the self test. Problem is i dont know the buttons, i think its manufacturer specific. I also read about hidden buttons on the tv remote and how that can start/stop self-test mode. Please help

Could be something like burn-in protection.

I dont think so. I researched about burn in protection. Its only for amoleds and old crt displays.
