Radeon HD 6450 with R7 1700?

Go to solution Solved by D13H4RD,

I don't see why a Radeon HD 6450 would be an issue for a Ryzen processor

You won't be doing much GPU intensive tasks with it but since you're considering a future GPU upgrade, that should hold you over just fine.

I'm making a Ryzen build and I only need to drive my display for the time being. I am going to upgrade the GPU later but I need to make this build as soon as possible because I need to code for school and have no desktop or laptop at the moment, only a phone. I shouldn't any problems with this card right? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/JnR48d/msi-video-card-r6450md1gd3lp

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Thank you guys, I was almost positive that it would work but I'm a very nervous person especially when it came to building this PC because it is my first time and didn't want some stupid driver stuff or display stuff happening. Again, thank you!!! xDxDxDxD

I get it i built my first PC almost two months ago after 4.5 months of starting (it saved me couple hundred) but you can also have multiple qoutes in one post like this (these are mine from this thread)
