R5 1600 and Cinebench problems.

So I've recently bought my Ryzen 5 1600 which I OC to 3.9 GHz, MSI B350 Tomahawk, 16 GB of ram at 3000 Mhz paired with GTX 1060 6 GB. And when I ran Cinebench scores were bad compared to some benchmarks that I saw. The thing is tomorrow I will receive my 1060, right now I am using some shity gpu I think its  Geforce 8400 GS just so I can do some basic things and light gaming. I know that GPU doesn't affect CPU benchmark. Thank you in advance if you can help me.

try other benchmarking software for only CPU and compare it to other people results, tehn  you will know if something if wrong or not

I just ran Geekbench and I got a score of 7711 for multicore and 1825 for singlecore performance, and when I searched on their site for some 1600 results every single score is well above 17k in multicore one, and 4k in singlecore.

Also when I open BIOS, Cinebench... It says that my R5 1600 is at 3.9 GHz and when I open CPUZ it says this

Yeah it looks like it's stuck at very low speed. Try enable high performance in windows power settings.

I just dont get it why does it say 3.9 if in reality, it is that low.

Its your overclock not saying that its unstable but I've had that issue so many times during my run up to a stable overclock what I did was reset to optimized default and slowly up the overclock testing it under load each time until unstable then either back off a bit or up the voltage but do it slow and don't overclock your ram until you are happy with the cpu clock

Cinebench doesn't read the clock speed accurately or in real time it's nearly always wrong.

Isn't there a bug going around where when you manually set the voltage on some ryzen mobos, the CPU will stay clocked really low?

 

If that's the case, maybe reset everything to default in the bios and try your OC with the Ryzen Master utility instead, and see what scores you get.

Not sure but my 1600x did this to me during my run up overclocking you need to take baby steps for some reason or cinebench and cpu-z report strange results resetting to optimized defaults and starting over always worked for me.
