1060 6gb vs 1060 3gb performance

I currently have a 1060 6gb version and I was wondering if there is any real difference in the cards. If there is I may return my 6gb and get the 3 gb and use the saving somewhere else in my build.

Just keep your 6GB one.

 

The 3GB one has 10% less CUDA cores and 3GB is barely enough for new games with high quality textures even at 1080p.

Ryzen 1600 stock cooler

Asus prime b350 Mobo

8 gb ram running at 3066

1 tb WD blue

120 gb ssd

1060 evga ssc 6gb

 

Would like to play at 1080p and I play on playing destiny 2 and picking up witcher 3 soon.
