Trying to overclock my 760 GTX

Hi all,

So iv never overclocked a GPU before only my CPU when I was using my AMD system as my i5 7500 isnt overclockable :(, I was following a guide on youtube using MSI AfterBurner all I have done so far is put 100mhz on the clock offset tested on heaven benchmark and it crashed in 10 seconds then started getting really bad tearing on screen till I reset settings and rebooted. Anyone able to help me with why it had done that or any tips or guides that could help. Using a 760 GTX Nvidia Windforce OverClocked Edition 3 fan GPU.

Thanks

Download MSi Afterburner and Heaven Benchmark, run Heaven(max out fps here doesn't matter just stress the GPU) for 5 minutes for every +10 core clock you put checking for stability, stop when it not longer is stable then repeat with +10 on memory, when done save as profile 1 and apply on start up and you're done.

ok cheers so 100 was too much of a jump straight away? ill give it ago with +10 each time thanks :) do i need to do anything with voltage.

Quick Update managed to get to 1293mhz max on Core and 3055mhz memory max, can only seem to add 50 to each core and memory as it seems to crash as i go higher. I did also just learn if i set the fan curve to a lot higher its more stable and cooler though a lot noisier.

Is there anything I need to do with Voltage or would you leave that alone? thanks

Here is some benchmarks before and after
