diy ethernet Ethernet Cables same at patch?

I have a 50 meter cat5e cable that i presume has a broken connector

I am trying to do DIY rj45 ethernet cables and I was wondering if the 50m cat5e cable is the same thing as patch cables.
Does anyone also know a good crimping rj45 header for cheap on amazon?

Patch cables are basically pre-terminated ethernet cables that come in different lengths. For crimps Monoprice has good ones.
