System Restore on each hard drive?

TwixOps

I'm setting up system restore on my Win 10 pro PC, and I'm confused about whether I need to allocate space on each hard drive for the restore points.

My system has:

120 GB SSD for the boot drive,

a pair of 2 TB HDD in RAID 1 for program installation

1 500 gig for media.

Do I need to allocate space on each drive for  the restore points?  How much?

It's set by the percentage of how much you want to reserve for restore point. By default only the OS drive gets turned on. The rest has to be turn on manually. In that, use the slider to adjust how much you want to set.

Intel Xeon E5 1650 v3 @ 3.5GHz 6C:12T / CM212 Evo / Asus X99 Deluxe / 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 3000 Trident-Z / Samsung 850 Pro 256GB / Intel 335 240GB / WD Red 2 & 3TB / Antec 850w / RTX 2070 / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy X360 15: Intel Core i5 8250U @ 1.6GHz 4C:8T / 8GB DDR4 / Intel UHD620 + Nvidia GeForce MX150 4GB / Intel 120GB SSD / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy x360 BP series Intel 8th gen

AMD ThreadRipper 2!

only allocate space for drives with files that you want rolled back with system restore points....otherwise do a manual backup to an external medie (like a HDD or DVD/BluRay)
