Dell Optiplex 790 GTX 750 Upgrade

LukaFX

I have a Dell Optiplex 790 (the big one) and also have the stock Dell 265 watt power supply, I wanted to upgrade to the EVGA GTX 750 GPU with no external power connectors, could it run games on that PSU or would it burn it out...

the specs of the power supply are in the picture!

Thanks!

Should be fine because the card can only pull 75 watts though the pcie connector

You'll be fine. I've modded 6 pin connectors into those supplies and they handled it. 265w is more than enough. Not by much, but it'll be fine.

LOL HOW.
