Which CPU is better? The FX 6300 or the i5 7600?

i5 7600 is much better, but can't recommend either of those CPU, if buying new.

If you have the budget for a $200* chip, i5's are terrible value mid 1017 new and FX chips should only be considered if you can get the whole platform dirt cheap.
