Where can I find a 130w dell charger in BC?

Hello,

I just arrived in Vancouver and I forgot my laptop charger. I need a Dell XPS 15 9550 Adapter Charger Cord 130W. I've tried some local chain stores like best buy, but they only have 90W. I've looked on Craigslist and eBay but I'm staying at a airbnb and I wasn't given the mail key so I need something I can pickup. Is there anywhere else locally I can look?

Thank you,

Courtney

If you can get a 90 watt model, I think it would work, but charge slowly. Perhaps you could use it on battery and charge it while it's shut down?

Welcome to Vancouver!

See if you can arrange to pick up Craigslist and Ebay items in a public place like a VPD detachment, coffee shop, or shopping centre.

I've tried looking for replacement chargers on BattDepot (that's where I get my replacement batteries and chargers) and didn't find anything for once. NCIX and MemoryExpress doesn't have anything that fits the bill as well. I guess 130W adapters aren't popular which is why there's scarce third party offerings. 90W adapters are literally the standard wattage for regular consumer laptops which is why you'll tend to find many offerings.

Bought the 90W but none of the 6 power tips fit. Even though it said it's compatible with Dell.

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll try some second hand stores.

Oh, so it wasn't an original Dell? That's limiting, then.
