The MacBook Pro was not designed for that. I would not find it hard to believing that it would be cooler.

only usb type c in the pro market no one uses type c yet, touch bar makes it harder to use touch bar, windows on the new MacBook sucks( so many glitches), battery life is less and gets hotter.

Then why would they put a discrete graphics card and a high TDP CPU in the laptop, knowing darn well that the chassis and the cooling system could not handle it?

I understand it wasn't made for gaming, but rather for general tasks, like web browsing, and my wife's 2015 MBP with the M370X gets warm while even doing that.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you have to use discrete graphics only while using Windows on a Macbook?

It can handle it.

Does the machine shut down because of thermal instability? As BS as that sounds unless it does that the computer is not overheating.

The Machine becomes warm because the logic board is set to ramp up the fans only when it needs to. It will run as quietly and as passively as possible before turning the fans up.

On MacOS it graphics switches.

yes it is, its throttling down to keep it from killing itself, FYI temps can reach over 100C

Is not overheating.

A machine only overheats if the temperature exceeds the "TJMAX" of the CPU.

It hasn't even shut down as far as I know, as all she does is web browsing.  It's not BS, I've used it before, and it gets warm while simply using Safari, which is sad, because MacOS was supposed to be light and easy to run.

Don't accuse me of lying.  I'm a lawyer, for God's sake, I have a degree in presenting only the truth and nothing but the truth.

The fans turn on every now and then while doing basic tasks.  It's warm most of the time I have used it, only sometimes does the fan turn on to cool it down.

Wrong

The CPU will lower back the clock speed to prevent itself from overheating.

How can the machine be overheating if it is throttling down to prevent itself from overheating?
