1080GTX SC SLI is not dead

Maybe because I play fps shooter 3rd person shooter and open world non shooters like tomb R there is more SLi in my games?

I seem to have a lot of SLi without trying by all means really 17-20 have Vs 10-14 don't

The ones that dont like Just Cause 2 Just Cause 3 Doom 2016 don't even need because they so already 120FPS or other are caped at 30 fps la Norrie or 60fps 2014 2015 Wolfenstein

 

Also 1 1080GTX even at some games the card cant handle maxing out the game visuals .

Many have endless troubles with SLi This 3rd time only 2 games GTA5 and mafia 2 but that was more of game issue not SLi

Since first SLi test run on 2 470GTX 1GB the 2 Evga SC 680s 2GB this 3rd PC with SLi if I was hit with troubles I stop first try

 

It worth SLi if game programmer does good job at it and both cards scale great and stable and best is not to over stress or under power PC

 

I feel to avoid trouble it seem by having beefy PC parts and great cooling and don't over push PC

Some say yes I say maybe but the truth is going SLi  is more than just putting video cards in done

I like i7 6850K 6 core 3.6 Overclocked 3.6@4.4 6 core has 40 pci lanes for full SLi lane support

32GB DDR4 PC 3000 factory Overclocked then I OC to PC 3150

 

SLi 1080 GTX EVGA SUPER CLOCKED 2100/5508 (2012-2088 games benchmarks hit 2100/5508

memory is at speed of 1378MHz instead of 1251MHz

Each card had 320GB BW now 352GB x2 704GB BW instead of 640GB

Setup 2 x 480GB SSD HDs in Raid 0 with 16GB OF DDR PC 300016GB caching the HD

PC PS no lower than 750-850watt for sli its less do to
