Phone charging extremely slow

Destius

I have a Vodafone smart prime 6 and today as I put it to charge it was around 20-30% after around 4-5hours it was at 41% and said it needed 7hours to finish charging . I thought it was kind of odd but I though eh it probably is nothing. Then after another 3 hours charging the phone was at 44% saying that 34hours are needed to be fully charged. 34 HOURS???that is surely not normal any ideas?

i'd call that a phone problem.. your phone doesnt need more than 2.5 watts on idle.

I plugged my LG G4 into a 500mA charger overnight, and it wasn't even close to full in the morning.

Not really.

if he receives lots of emails, messages, etc. or just has a lot of crap running in the background, it could use more than 2.5 watts with ease.

the problem is in the person who uses the phone, not the phone itself.

Just try another charger. If that doesn't work and your battery is removable order a new one from eBay or a parts store of your choice. Maybe the battery is faulty

It can be :
1.Your battery is giving up
2.Your charger or your charger cable

Or try charger with a higher Ampere like  2.1a charger see if thats work usually it worked

Well now its fixed faulty charger apparently got another charger works like a charm. :D
