Painting/ Modding Microphone

I have a blue yeti microphone at home and I was wondering what would be the best paint type to paint both the body, the metal filter on top, the base, and legs. But all in all have it still look clean. Also is there any way to add texture to it such as carbon fiber.

Your best option would be to completely disassemble for painting, you can create a carbon fiber type look but most don't look super amazing compared to say a textured vinyl wrap.

For painting, same answer as the mouse thread. For carbon fiber, look for a sheet of carbon fiber patterned vinyl, cut it to the perfect size, and stick it on.

You think disassembly and then doing some hydro dip on each side might be simpler if I was looking for that design

If you have a place that can do hydro dipping that is another option, just be sure it gets a clear coat or protective layer to not have the design wear off, espically for things like the mouse.

For sure, I have a hydro dipping place close by, and on top of that I can get a few kits with the material needed if I wanted to do it for cheap

Yeah as long as you have a design or something they carry on hand it would be good espically for the curved surfaces which takes quite a bit of work to wrap
