Best Monitor for the cost

Hej, I'm upgrading my PC soon. Doing a full setup redo. I only need one monitor but I'm having a hard time finding a good one, I've ask a lot of friends, but they suggest me to buy a 4K monitor. I don't see the point in buying one if i have a low-budget Graphics card.
Budget: 100-150€/US$ can go higher, but not too much like 100€/US$ (its almost one on one exchange from Eur to US$)
Rez: 1080p maybe even 1440p (depends how much does it cost and is it worth the extra money)

So could anyone Help me pic the new monitor for the setup?

What types of games do you play?

I won't be playing a lot of AAA titles (maybe only WatchDogs 2), I'll be playing more like Cs:Go and other smaller titles that don't demand a lot of power.

You should consider a 1080p 120/144hz monitor then.

I use one and I play mainly FPS's and I can't go back to anything under 120hz now. :D
