What To Do With PC (After I'm Done For The Day)

Good evening to all. I am fairly new to the whole "PC" community, (I've gamed on an xbox up until now, and had a macbook. I know, kill me) but finally came around to building my own PC. It turned out successful, and I love it to death, but I want to ensure it receives nothing less than the perfect treatment in order to ensure top performance and reliability. Now, my question is: Once I am done with my PC for the day, what do I do? Do I simply leave it running, put it in sleep mode, power it off, or power it off and unplug it? I've scoured the Internet and haven't seen to have found 1 definitive answer, so here I am in need of assistance. I also have my PC hooked up to a Back-UPS unit, which is a battery and power surge unit, if that helps with my question. Thanks everyone, cheers.

Why don't you run Fold or SETI@home?

Can't run what I've never heard of, haha. Like I said, still new to this, so bear with me.

Power it off. No need to unplug it

Does the motherboard remain powered whilst doing this, and if so, that's fine right?

Helping research seems a worthy choice.

Here`s a video with the L from LTT, regarding your question though:

So, just to make sure, when I power off my PC, my microphone (Blue Snowball), my motherboard (Asus VIII Hero), and my Front Base Panel (Asus ROG) seem to be on. Normal I assume?
