Buggy Razer Mamba Chroma Wireless

hihihi8

Hi guys, recently I've bought a Razer Mamba wireless mouse, and i've been experiencing a bunch of weird bugs and issues so far. Sometimes the mouse will just freeze, and require a restart of the mouse + a reconnect of the receiver's USB cable to use again, other times the mouse will only move up and down, and other times (Esp in games), the mouse wouldn't move smooth and would jump/teleport around with small movements. I've also experienced one occasion where the mouse would not move, but would click scroll fine. The local razer service center tells me that it is a problem with my USB power delivery, but I highly doubt it as everything else i've plugged in has worked fine. I've tried reinstalling Synapse, creating a new profile, and setting polling rate to 500Hz. Any Ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks!

How long have you had the mouse? You should probably return it under your warranty. I don't recommend wireless mouses, especially for games. If I were you, I'd switch to wired

Have you tried every single USB port?

Because sometimes the issue resides in one or a few USB ports. Maybe try the USB port which you use for your keyboard. If the issue still persists, just send it back.

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.

As said above try a different usb port, if that does not fix it, try it on a different computer and see if it works fully there. If it still is not working correctly then send it in for warranty, if it is out of it's warranty period your out of luck at that point.

It is worth mentioning that logitech have developed really good wireless tech on their G900 and G403 Wireless as good as wired.

I've had it just over 4 days so far. I agree with you that wireless mice aren't good for gaming. Curiously, the issues rarely (Some haven't at all) show up on wired mode, But that just negates the whole point of me getting the wireless version. Therefore it seems more like a transmitter/receiver or firmware issue rather than the sensors/mouse itself.

I have tried the keyboard port, and one other port, but issues persists. I've just confirmed with the seller, and they've agreed to a refund. If i decide to go wireless again, I'm probably gonna opt for the logitech series. Thx!

Thanks for the recommendation! Will try their options if I ever go wireless again, as Razer products have cause me more than a dozen RMA's now over the years (All of them failed within warranty, not sure if considered lucky or not :D), and I've had enough of them.
