What do I need to mount my TV to this stand?

My TV is 48 inches. I was offered this stand for the amazing price of free and gladly accepted. Wasn't until I got home that I realized I had no clue what I needed to mount my TV to it or if it's even possible to. :/

 

i7 2600k @ 5GHz 1.49v - EVGA GTX 1070 ACX 3.0 - 16GB DDR3 2000MHz Corsair Vengence

Asus p8z77-v lk - 480GB Samsung 870 EVO w/ W10 LTSC - 2x1TB HDD storage - 240GB SATA SSD w/ W7 - EVGA 650w 80+G G2

3x 1080p 60hz Viewsonic LCDs, 1 glorious Dell CRT running at anywhere from 60hz to 120hz

Model M w/ Soarer's adapter - Logitch g502 - Audio-Techinca M20X - Cambridge SoundWorks speakers w/ woofer

well of first of all, you need to confirm if your TV even accepts vesa mounts. if it does, it should indicate the required hole spacing.

Sorry, should have included that crucial information. It says VESA 400x200.

measure the holes on the vesa mount you got and see if it matches up with 400x200. if not, you can google 400x200 vesa mount and it should come up. i think you need a wall bracket for that.

It isn't a 400x200 mount on the stand. If I got this would I be able to mount my TV to the stand? The mounting plate on the stand is 9"x9".

Okay, so I just got back around to this. The corner mount holes on the stand are 8 inches apart, vertically and horizontally. On the TV, the holes are 8 inches apart vertically, but 16 inches apart horizontally. Is there some kind of adapter I can get to remedy this? Like this?
