Only 100 FPS in CSGO?

_JohnB330ci

So, put short I feel like my PC isn't reaching it's pull potential on CS? I'm getting 130fps AVG on 16:9 with the game maxed?

Source Engine isn't a fan of AMD processors by any means. While playing, have something like MSI Afterburner open and monitor cores 0-3 and post results. My suspicion is that core 0 is hitting 100% and preventing higher frame rates.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

CSGO only uses 3 cores and the fourth is used during loading.  Probably why. Turn off HRTF in Audio settings. Set thread priority to high by setting launch options (-high, -threads 8)

idk

HRTF runs on the first core as well so disable that - it isn't helping.
