looks fine to me. if you want to OC your cpu even more, you might want the cryorig r1 universal or be quiet dark rock pro 3, these have a higher tdp limit.

Moved to new builds and planning.

Welcome to the forums btw c: But please be a little more careful of subforum choice in the future ;)

Oh sorry I will try to change it, and pay more attention next time. Sorry :/

My build:
CPU: intel core i5 7600k
CPU cooler: Cryorig H5 ultimate  <<Drop to an H7 or BeQuiet Pure Rock
Motherboard: asus rog strix Z270F  <<Drop to a non SLI Z270 Mobo
RAM: corsair vengeance 8GB 2x (3200MHz)
SSD: Samsung 850 evo 500Gb  <<Drop to a cheaper reliable SSD
HDD: WD blue edition 1TB  <<leave this out
GPU: rog strix gtx 1060 6GB
PSU: EVGA supernova g3 550w  <<Look at a cheaper, good quality PSU: Seasonic M12 520W fully modular units are $65

Case: NZXT H440

If you make those changes, you will have money left over.  Change either the GPU or the CPU;  GTX 1070 or the i7 7700K.

What is your budget and location? Because you could do far better than this. You could get a cheaper (but still very capable) cooler, a 6600k, and a Z170 motherboard and see absolutely no drop in performance, and upgrade to 16GB of RAM with the money left over.

Your current storage solution costs about $220. Instead of getting an unnecessarily fast SSD and a 1TB HDD, you can get a MX300 1.1 TB for just $20 more.

You should still have some money left over from the CPU/Cooler/Motherboard swap. Get a cheaper but equally reliable power supply and a cheaper case and you should be able to upgrade the GPU to a vastly superior GTX 1070, gaining an immense improvement in performance.

This is what I have in mind-

*triggered*

Crucial says the SSD is 1.05/1TB (aka 1050GB, techncially more 1.025TB when it's divided by 1024) not 1.1TB...

Kingston isn't the only one baiting and switching, it seems.

Oh well, still the lowest Price/GB. Shame I can't find an MLC SSD there. The Sandisk SSD PLUS 480 is the only cheap MLC SSD, and there isn't one larger than 480GB. However, two of them are still cheaper than one MX300 1TB.

Dammit PCPP, even superbiz names the MX300's capacity correctly :P

Crucial MX300 1TB

The whole reason crucial put the extra 25GB per 500GB is so in windows, it acutally shows up as 1000GB rather than 968GB~ :P
