I'm upgrading my system. Which CPU, Motherboard and RAM's should i buy?

rea66

Firstly I was thinking to buy these :

CPU : Intel Core i5 7600K 1151 3.8GHz 6MB Cache

Motherboard : MSI Z170A PRO Intel Z170 1151 DDR4 3400MHz (O.C.) VGA&DVI

RAM : Kingston 16GB (4x4GB) HyperX FURY Black Series DDR4 2400MHz CL15 or Crucial 16GB (2x8GB) Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400MHz CL16

I have ASUS STRIX GTX970 to use it on this system. I'm not sure which Z170 model or brand should I buy and which rams would be better at this mobo. Also is 7600K worth it or should i buy lower grade i5 7th generation? Please explain when you answer. Thanks.

Don't get a Z170 mobo and a 7600k, unless you have a Skylake chip on hand since you will have to upgrade your BIOS (which requires a Skylake CPU) in order for your mobo to work with Kaby Lake. Also, you should probably opt for two sticks of RAM instead of four. This will give you room for future expansion, should you need it.

WHIPLASH

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700k @4.7GHz

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 2x8GB @3000MHz

MOBO: Asus ROG Maximus VIII Ranger

GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2

PSU: EVGA Supernova 650GS

CASE: Fractal Design Define S

Yes, the CPU benchmarks should be higher then the gpu.

Look for parts such as a i5 7500 then you can purchase where you live, try and find a pc store where you can buy parts. go for a b250 board.
