Well, you can't notice a difference (greater than 1-2C anyways) even with a custom loop..... To notice a sizeable difference you have to use either Dry Ice or Liquid nitrogen.....

Lol well both of my h100i's must have been faulty. Nice to know, thanks.

What temps are u getting with ur loop ?

Also loops are for idiots

with more money than sence

unless u have the best of the best and spare change loops are a waste of money

what does it cpu do that mine can't with a aio vs ur loop

Well both loops get better temps the I did using 2 or 3 aio's. Also a lot quieter. But it's personal preference. You want higher temps and more noise then go for it. I'm sure the cpus can do the same thing. There was zero difference in performance using the stock intel cooler too. So buying any liquid cooling would be dumb at that point.

Well u can't oc to 4.8 with 1.325v on stock cooler

also my noctua fans are silent

U still have fans on a custom loop so that's bs

Well yea if I'm gonna swap fan onto an aio instead of using the ones they came with. Dumb comparison but fitting. Even with noctuas on the two h100's they ran hotter then using a single 360. So it's was quite obvious to me. Cleaner and easier to do and work with. Oc'ing isn't a big factor as it yields zero tangible results to justify doing any of it. Thus the crappy aio's came out and the loop went in. The only bs was not doing it sooner.

Water cooling is a hobby and as with all hobbies it makes zero sense financially.

The liquid metal is only going to make a difference in your system if the coolers are up to snuff which probably isn't the case if you're using anything less than an AiO or custom loop. On your CPU the limiting factor will be Intels TIM that is pre-applied on the internal heat spreader, so it's probably pointless applying liquid metal to that unless you're prepared to delid your CPU as well. If you're still concerned about damaging your cards you might as well just stick with a quality paste that isn't metal based.
