42

also, some questions to make you wonder about life:

What is I and who is me? Who is you? Which armrest in the movie theatre is yours?

also,

Welcome to the internet, I will be your guide. Or something.

Ahh, so is there a way I can use a splitter or something to plug in 4?

Yeah, get some splitters or a fan hub

If you get a fan controller you can do all four no problem. Also, why do you need four system fans for a micro ATX mobo? If I were you I'd just plug in the CPU fan and a single filtered fan and call it good.

Well, yeah, I guess. My case alrealready comes with 2 fans, is that enough? And, will the case come with a splitter? My case is the NZXT S340.

The case doesn't have a fan hub/splitter, and yes, 2 fans is plenty. If you don't mind noise, get a Molex to fan adaptor. The fans will run at 100% when the computer is on, but I think only one front fan is needed as an intake. Also, did you already buy the case? If not, consider a smaller case. If you list your parts I can find one for you. I'd hate to get a big case and see a tiny micro ATX mobo in it, it looks weird.

Here is my build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/KingOz/saved/VT9rHx.

And when you say molex, does that mean the header on the mobo is a molex. Also, when choosing a case, please keep in mind that this will be my first ever PC build, and I have no hands-on experience. (No, I have not bought the case yet)

thanks!

By Molex, I mean the power connector that comes from your PSU. It has four pins and is shaped like a trapezoid. NEVER plug in anything other than the 8 pin and 24 pin connectors to your motherboard. Some PSUs have what's called a 'Berg' connector that uses the same power standards as molex, and some people plug that into the fan headers (This kills the motherboard).

One note: The case on the PCPartPicker list only has 4 mm of clearance for your GPU, so I found a few cases that would better fit it.

Here are some potential cases:

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/shtWGX/corsair-case-cc9011086ww (My personal pick, really cheap and you get the Corsair Quality)

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/QDcMnQ/be-quiet-case-bg006 (Really quiet, as the name implies)

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/QMp323/thermaltake-case-ca1d500s1wn00 (Novel form factor, really small)

If your goal is a small computer, get the Thermaltake. If it's silence, get the Be Quiet, and if it's anything else, get the Corsair.
