Where can I buy a hyper 212 backplate from?

I can't buy it from the coolermaster website because it's out of stock. Is there anywhere else from where I can buy the backplate from?

What socket build is this? You don't HAVE to use a H212 specific backplate, it just has to support the motherboard socket layout.

This may work if you have one of the supported sockets.

What platform are you using it for? Do you have any other brackets for it?

If you're not overclocking, don't bother just keep the 212 EVO

Ah, I see. It kind of sucks that spent money on this cooler instead of buying a better cooler. I guess I'll just get a new cooler if I don't find a replacement backplate for it.

Well you can still jury rig the cooler. I like the zip tie method where you just run zip ties through the motherboard mounting holes and use them to secure the cooler.

As a 212 EVO owner, the fan is a lot less noisy when mounted to a graphics card cooler

 

Here's a smaller, cheaper cooler with the same performance

You should. The CPU cooler will come with new paste for the cooler either in a packet or on the cooler's contact surface.

 

For redoing:

There's no reason not to unless you have no paste on you. If you need paste I'd go with Kryonaut or AS5.
