Grammerly adds numbers to quotes

Hey forum team. I've noticed an issue, I'm not sure how to fix. I have the Grammerly app installed in Chrome, but in the quote box it adds issues:

Sometimes it adds the number of grammer/spelling mistakes as a number in the quote box, but outside of the text area inside. As such it is not possible to remove it again. Is this something that can be fixed in the forum, or is that grammerly screwing up?

No the number comes from the mistakes Grammerly finds in the textbox inside the quote box. If you turn off Grammerly, it won't search for mistakes.

I can disable it for this forum, but that's about it I think.

Do you need it for LTT? It may be better to just "except" and continue on.

It fixes basic spelling mistakes, but it helps with (at least better) comma placement in English. So it keeps me on my toes, so I write better. I just find it odd, that the number is added to the quote boxes outside of the textbox in it. The main textbox you write these posts in, does not add the number.

When you type, there is a green grammerly icon in the bottom right. An extra icon appears inside of quote boxes. Whenever you make a mistake, it will red underline it (like in Word), and add a number to the bottom right logo, that is now red.

It might be a good idea to contact the Grammerly developers and see what the issue is. Perhaps it thinks that the quote box is a new text box.

Seems like it. I guess it's something Grammarly devs and the forum devs needs to fix. But idk if it's Invision Power Services, or LTT forum guys who needs to do it though.

I'm going to say that the issue is Grammerly's.

 

Does the issue occur if you open the text box and then quote me?

Let's see. Yup, you spelled Grammarly wrong, so it added a 1.

I've been spelling it the way you have.

Yup no problems there. And yes I spelled it wrong too  . In this post, there are no errors in the quote box, but a few in my text here.

It's not much to worry about from what I can see. I don't think anyone would (or should) have an issue with something inconsequential. Unless they find you scoring their grammar, which in my opinion is deserved, and find offense to it.

That's a gammarly issue, and there's nothing we can do about it.
