Noctua NH-U9S or the NH-D9L

davidst95

Hi, I'm building a mATX computer.   I have a Gigabyte Z170MX motherboard and a I7-6700K CPU.   My case can fit a fan with a maximum CPU cooler height of 130mm.    I would like to stay away from AIO water coolers.   I'm debating getting the Noctua NH-U9S or the Noctua NH-D9L CPU cooler.   I can't figure out which is the best option.  Both would fit.   Also, is there any better low profile fans that can perform similar to these fans?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I had to buy an after market cooler because the K series do not come with a stock cooler.

Its because stock cooler cant handle the heat output from 6700k.

Unlike core i3 or pentium G series they will comes with a stock cooler in the box.

Fairly sure 6700k's don't come with a stock cooler.

Edit - nevermind, you just didn't word it in the best way.
