If I remember correctly, the ROG Strix is better.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

EVGA. Asus has good customer service for motherboards but not so much for GPU's.

Also, three fans don't necessarily mean better cooling.

Asus will perform better, but it's loud and has terrible customer service. EVGA performs slightly worse, better service, sorta dull card. I went with Zotac, and my card arrives in two days, so I'll tell you how it goes.

Any card with three fans (for the most part) is gonna be hella loud under load. The EVGA SC card is a screamer of you really push it for benchmarking runs, but I never see the fans crank above 37% during game play, even intense stuff like Witcher 3 with crazy MSAA and Hairworks on (1080p), and they're damn near inaudible.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
