Trust Linus? Front radiator setup in 760t

Hey everyone,

Should I trust what Linus says here?:

"We do sacrifice slightly higher temperatures for the rest of the components in the case, but it's really not that big of a deal."

Won't this arrangement in the Corsair 760t case cause overheating? Unless I am missing something, in this build there is just 1 outtake fan in the back and the 2 intake fans are connected to the radiator. So if there's a 280mm radiator connected to the front 2 fans that would mean there's no air coming in to the case? Is this OK or do I risk damaging valuable computer parts?

Your input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

there is air coming in through the radiator. the only thing is that when your CPU gets hot, the air moving into your case will be slightly warmer too. this is why top mounted rads are recommended, so they can directly exhaust the heat.

this really shouldn;t affect performance too much though. maybe if you quad crossfire stock cooled 290X's you might get some heat problems, but anythin less extreme should be fine! :P
