Image in image size adjustment

hey, i'm editing a trailer teaser and i've managed to put a picture in a clip but i would like to change the size of the image, i'm using imovie on an imac. Any help? thanks.

Shouldn't there be little tabs around the video clip, with which you can enlarge or make the video clip smaller? Or do you mean a size transition?

yes the little tabs on each corner of the image but does not let me adjust the size and not the duration of the clip the actual image imported into the clip

Wait, what? Does it or does it not let you edit the size of the image/videoclip? And the duration is controlled on the timeline.

You could make a video of it and upload it (unlisted) to YouTube, or make a few images showing what is not working and uploading those to the gallery here.

From my understanding, you have a video clip/image that you are overlaying on top of another videoclip in iMovie and want to increase the size of the videoclip that is overlaying the other one?

Assuming you work on a 1080p timeline, you could use this:
