Yes used to over-clock K branded cpu's!

But when looking for motherboards to buy, you must look at the features you want now, and in the future if you plan to upgrade.

One thing is what type of monitor hookup? VGA, DVI, HDMI, ?Thunder?

Another, RAM slots.

# of PCIe slots and type.

# of USB connections.
